Drivewear was developed to meet the visual requirements of driving a car. The lens combines the properties of photochromic and polarised lenses. As a result of the contrast enhancing and polarising characteristics it is also exceptionally suitable for sports and leisure time activities.
When it is cloudy these lenses block out the contrast enhancing yellow-green colour glare and in this way improves contrast and depth perception. In the lightest conditions the absorption of the lenses is 68%. In bright sunshine behind the windscreen the colour changes to copper brown with a 78% absorption. If the rays are not filtered through the windscreen, the transition coating is activated and changes to dark brown with an 88% absorption. The lenses have 100% UV protection.
