TVX 153 (Trivex)

- ~12x more shatter-proof than ORGA 150
- Has almost the same refraction index as CR39 but can be ground more thinly
- Has a very high impact resistance – ideal for protective eyewear and sports lenses
- Is chemically resistant to solvents
- Has very good optical characteristics
- Is with 1.11 g/m3 the lightest material for lenses
- Is tough and hard-wearing – easy to drill, groove and cut
- Provides an alternative to ORGA 150 as a standard lens because it is lighter and tougher
- Is systematically produced with a hard coating
- Cannot be tinted
